Appraisal Data Source

The Appraisal Data Source is a curated selection of LMS data that enables you to create Reports on the status, date range, and organization information of learner appraisals. Relevant items in this Data Source include the Appraisal Name, Manager Name, Organization Name, Start/End Date, Active Stage Name, and Status of learner appraisals.

The Appraisal Data Source is located in the Public folder in the Zoola™ Repository. To locate the Data Source in either the Repository or the Data Chooser (when selecting a Data Source to create an Ad Hoc View), navigate to Public > Totara > Data Sources.

This Data Source contains LMS data organized to report on the appraisal information of your LMS users. “Appraisal” information consists of measures and fields that track the manager and organization information of learners, as well as their appraisal statuses, relevant dates, and included naming data. Using fields and measures from the set included in this Data Source, you can easily build out Reports and Views to track the status of LMS user appraisals.

The links along the right-hand side of this article will open the Performance Appraisal Progress Chart View and the Performance Appraisal Progress Table View, respectively. If you are logged in to Zoola™, these views will open in the Ad Hoc Editor. The left-hand View panel will display the contents of the Appraisal Data Source, organized into sets of items (as both fields and measures).

All included sets are comprised of selections from the tables listed in the Totara table, located at the end of the right-hand column.

Specifically, the Appraisal Data Source is comprised of the following sets:

• User: Items in the User set provide user identification information, such as user ID's, names, locations, and other LMS profile-related data.
  • Position Assignment: Included as a subset of the User set, items in the Position Assignment set provide manager and organizational data.
  • Appraisal User Assignment: Included as a subset of the User set, items in the Appraisal User Assignment contain the appraisal status and date-related information.
